This Privacy Policy explains how Vezeti ("Vezeti", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit vezeti.net or vezeti.com, sign up for or use our Services (as defined in our Terms and Conditions), or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Vezeti Sites"). It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions.
By using the Vezeti Sites or Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Vezeti Sites or Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you interact with us:
Information you give us directly. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and any message content, when you sign up for an account, submit a contact, ebook, DID request, partner or compliance form, subscribe to our newsletter, or leave a comment on our blog.
KYC and compliance documentation. If you submit our Compliance Form, we collect the specific identity and business documents it requests — for example your National Identification Number (NIN), Certificate of Incorporation, proof of address, Tax Identification Number (TIN), a passport photograph, and evidence of payment. We collect these only because they are required by Nigerian telecommunications regulation for the services they relate to, and only use them for that purpose.
Account and service information. If you use our PABX, SIP trunking, contact centre or related Services, we process the account, extension, call routing and billing information needed to provide those Services, and, where a feature such as call recording is enabled on your account, the call recordings and metadata that feature generates, as described in our Terms and Conditions.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers automatically log standard technical information when you visit the Vezeti Sites — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We also use cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 3 below.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
• provide, operate, maintain and bill for the Vezeti Sites and Services;
• create and manage your account, and verify your identity for compliance and regulatory purposes;
• respond to enquiries, support requests, and messages you send us;
• send you service-related communications, and, where you have opted in, our newsletter and product updates;
• protect the security and integrity of the Vezeti Sites and Services, including detecting and preventing fraud, abuse and spam;
• comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including those imposed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC); and
• improve the Vezeti Sites and Services, including through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Vezeti Sites use cookies and similar technologies from the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Vezeti Sites;
•
Google reCAPTCHA, to protect our forms and comment sections from spam and abuse;
•
Google Fonts, to load the typefaces used on this site; and
•
Mailchimp, to power our newsletter sign-up.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Doing so may affect how parts of the Vezeti Sites function, including reCAPTCHA-protected forms.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

Service providers who process data on our behalf to help us operate the Vezeti Sites and Services — for example our web hosting provider, our transactional email provider (used to deliver form submissions and notifications), Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA, Fonts), and Mailchimp (newsletter delivery);
•
Regulators and authorities, where required by the NCC or other applicable Nigerian law, or in response to a valid legal request;
•
Professional advisers, such as our lawyers or auditors, where necessary; and
•
A buyer or successor, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to that party's agreement to honor the commitments made in this Policy.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect your information — including transmitting the Vezeti Sites over HTTPS, restricting direct access to stored form and comment data on our servers, and using reCAPTCHA to guard against automated abuse. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and, as set out in our Terms and Conditions, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, satisfy the purpose for which it was collected, comply with our legal and regulatory obligations (including NCC recordkeeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements — after which it is deleted or anonymized.
6. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw any consent you have given (such as for newsletter emails, by unsubscribing at any time); and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).

7. International Data Transfers
Some of the third-party service providers listed in Section 3 and 4 may process or store information outside Nigeria. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, consistent with the NDPA.
8. Children's Privacy
The Vezeti Sites and Services are intended for use by individuals who have reached the age of majority (or age 18, whichever is greater) in their jurisdiction, consistent with our Terms and Conditions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
